How a gps tag work?
🔑 How It Works:
The tag has a built-in GPS chip to find its own real-time location.
It uses Bluetooth to:
○ Pair with your phone.
○ Transmit GPS location to your phone app.
Some also use cellular (SIM card) or
Wi-Fi to send location if your phone isn't nearby.
Example:
• GPS tag for a dog collar.
• It tracks the dog's location using GPS.
• Sends updates via Bluetooth when your phone is near, or via SIM/Wi-Fi
otherwise.
Battery Life: Shorter than Bluetooth-only tags, since GPS uses more power.
