Between 1944 and 1969, Danish-American farmer Søren Poulsen created Verdenskortet — a football field-sized world map made of soil and stone, where every 27 cm represents 111 km of the real globe. Visitors can stroll from Europe to Australia, paddle boats across “oceans,” and even enjoy a round of mini golf between continents. This one-of-a-kind park attracts around 40,000 visitors a year and is still run by Poulsen’s family — blending creativity, history, and geography into an unforgettable experience!
